Everyone Is Going to HELL but ME!

[tweetmeme source= ‘OmarLoves’ only_single=false]

Lately I have been a bit bothered by the fighting and condemning in the Christian body. I heard about this kind of activity going on but I never knew it was this heavy. I have seen people on YouTube calling people heretics and responding to another post to condemn them based on what they disagree with. I have seen Christians physically attacked due to the words of other Christians, I have seen brothers and sisters literally leave the body of Christ because of these situations. I even see people posting that Paul was a heretic. This is what creates denominations; this is why there are 10 church building on the same block .  After seeing just how serious this thing is I realized I was not so far from it when I first found out about the false things in the institutionalized church (traditions). Some of the things I said and posted on my Facebook page though they may have been accurate in content they were not right in the way I went about it. My best friend Pleasure and I learned this about ourselves together. See this is how the holy spirit works, it allows you to find sin in yourself that you never knew existed. The whole time I thought I had my sin in control, up comes a new one from the wood-works. Although my intentions were never to be contentious and condemning, it was most likely going through the head of a person reading. Sometimes this can be a good thing when it’s as far as sin but often the response of a person isn’t to learn from what they may have been  doing wrong but to get offensive and defensive; never coming to grasping the fact that there may be something they could change to be more in content with the word of God.

I understand that there are plenty of false things in the body of Christ such as traditions and such but we must not loose confidence in God’s ability to fix things. Follow Christ teachings and that is what will keep you from those false things. What I have seen all through out the internet and in the Christian body today is us human beings trying to be the judges; trying to separate the wheat from the weeds on their own because we get so frustrated and feel God is not doing it quick enough for our taste.

Lets take a look at Jesus’s parable for us:

Matt 13:24-30

24Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.25But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

27“The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’

28” ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.

“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

29” ‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’ “

Matt 13:36-43

36Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”

37He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, 39and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.

40“As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. 41The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

You will realize God tells us to NOT pull up the weeds (sons of Satan) ourselves because we may root up the wheat (Sons of the kingdom) with them. This is something so many in the body have missed. We think its our job to pull up the weeds and each time you do that you are guilty of pulling up some of the wheat.

Understanding: If I am in the fields and I just start whacking everything that I feel is a weed ( things that i feel do not belong) there is a good chance I will slice some of the wheats as well. See we human beings are not the perfect judges in anything and we are flawed in everything we do but GOD is not.

Example: I start going around calling everyone whom I disagree with a heretic and that they must repent based on this disagreement (not concerning sin). Merely because these people have a different understanding about God based on what they have read in his word they become condemned by me. Jesus said anyone who wants to come to him must come as a child and guess what; children don’t have all the right answers and are wrong about many things but he still accepts them. What happens is someone who doesn’t understand what you did will become discouraged by that and leave the faith because of YOUR actions. Because humans tried to do God’s work.

God is the master swordsmen, so let him do the separating.

I really pray for the body that they will be careful of the criteria they use to judge people. I know there is a mass of people who quote the scriptures that show we are allowed to judge such as:

John 7:24 24Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment.”

1 Cor 6:3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!

This is something humans often do, we often focus on the part of the bible we like and only focus on those but we are not do this because it is what contradicts the word of God. The non believer’s biggest argument is that the bible has contradictions but honestly it doesn’t, WE make those contradictions in the way we handle God’s holy word.

Matt 7:1-2 “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.

1 Cor 4:5 Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

Romans 14:10-12 Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; for it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.

Matt 7:5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Instead of allowing these scriptures to work with one another we choose one set that fits with our way of doing things and use those scriptures to support it. Some say we are to judge one another while the other says you CAN’T judge me.

What I have learned about myself is that I must judge myself. So much of what I have found wrong with others I later find out the same thing is in me. Sin is in me. It doesnt matter what type of sin it is because sin is in me and God’s spirit is cutting right to my heart. Now I understand how Jesus could call those people hypocrites because they did not see things in themselves to the point they felt they could judge others when they have the same sinful nature within themselves.

Now this does not give a person the leeway to sin and not have to worry about it, quite frankly this is how you know someone is really God’s and if someone isnt. If someone takes pleasure in practicing sin and feels like they are getting away with it because they do not have to worry about man’s judgement then they show their fruit.

If you want the criteria God gives us to judge if someone is his or not here it is:

Gal 5

16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

This is how we are able to judge whether someone is God’s. We are not to condemn others because they do not understand things about God the way we do. We are not to reject a brother or a sister because they are not where we are in our walk with Christ. We are not to fight and throw verbal stones at one another.

1John 2:22 Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist–he denies the Father and the Son. Matt 24 10-14 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. B’cus of the increase of wickedness, the LOVE of most will GROW COLD, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

I DO HOPE YOUR PAYING ATTENTION… TO WHATS GOING ON IN YOU AND WHAT U SEE AROUND YOU

So brothers and sisters, let us be careful how we live this Christian walk. Let us Love and leave this mindset that everyone is a heretic but ourselves and our friends. Let us use the criteria Christ gave for us to follow in order to judge things in ourselves and encourage believers. Not base on disagreements but based on the fruit of the spirit. This is how we can tell who is working through God or not.

Sanctus Real: Pieces of a Real Heart (Review)

[tweetmeme source= ‘OmarLoves’ only_single=false]

So this album came out last month but I had so much new music that I refused to listen to anything else until I went through them all. Finally I got the new Sanctus Real: Pieces of a Real Heart album and let me say…. I AM BLOWN AWAY! I have always been a fan of Sanctus Real’s music and this new album gives me even more of a respect for these guys. They really went out to get the message about the sinful nature of us humans here. What it does is shows us how much we need God and how much he takes control if we allow him to. I love the fact that the first track is about being forgiven; I find that kind of cool that they give a person who may not know Christ a chance to understand how they can be forgiven too. (I’ve noticed a lot of non believers like Christian Rock and maybe they understood that too)

So what I did today was keep this album on replay all while I took a 5 hour walk in NYC’s park. I was walking many times with tears falling down my face because of the songs. The songs really describe how a Christian will cry out for God because the heart is failing them, resulting in them asking God to TAKE OVER ME.

As of right now, my favorite song is ‘Til I Got To Know You. First off the vocals are incredible on this track and the track is ridiculous it self. The person in the song is talking about how they tried to do things by themselves at first but ended up realizing Christ is best at controlling the lives of his children. The person speaking emphasize YOU YOU YOU which is a really neat thing to do because it keeps directing the focus on YOU meaning Christ and not the speaker. This is such a great song and guess what, every song so far is great. I like every track and didn’t find myself skipping tracks but listened to it through quite a few times. I repeated a few tracks like this one a bit though.

Let me leave you with some of the words from a really cool track they wrote… it’s almost like I wrote it myself.

Keep My Heart Alive

I’m so tired of politics and all this bad news
I’m so tired of chasing the moment instead of chasing You
I let the World wear me down, I’m desensitized

Jesus keep my heart alive, keep my heart alive
Only You can save me from a world that’s breaking right before my eyes
Keep my heart alive….

Jesus keep my heart alive (Only You can save me),
Keep my heart alive (Only You can save me)
Only You can save me when my world is breaking right before my eyes

Jesus keep my heart alive (Only You can save me),
Keep my heart alive (Only You can save me)
Only You can save me when my hope is fading, and I’m losing the fight

I would encourage everyone to get the deluxe version because it has the extra acoustic versions of the same songs. I love that!

Prosperity Gospel (TBN – Trinity Broadcasting Network)

[tweetmeme source= ‘OmarLoves’ only_single=false]

Most of you guys know I am extremely against this prosperity Gospel that seems to have taken over the body of Christ. Many of my post have been teachings from the bible that clearly opposes it. I actually was one of those who followed the prosperity gospel and thought it was God’s will. Paying my tithes to receive more money and “blessings”, believing highly elevated ministers when they told me God wants me to be rich financially. I jumped for joy at this idea and went around teaching people about this “blessing” these men have spoken into my life. Then 2008 comes and I finally pick up the bible for myself to read what JESUS said and WOW and BEHOLD it was completely against what I was teaching. I had so much repenting to do, so many people I brought to Christ based on this money ministry. Many people told me not to worry about it because it does not matter how you lead people to Christ, as long as they have been lead to Christ.

Gal 1:6-7 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.

So did I really lead these people to Christ? With a false gospel, did I really lead them to Christ? I lead them to a Christ that says money is great and he wants us to have as much as we can with the right mindset. I lead them to a Christ that says you can have what your sinful nature wants with God.

Luke 16:13 “No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.”

Another man who had to come to this realization through the word of God. Jim Bakker one of the founding fathers of the Trinity Broadcasting Network. He came into a bit of trouble and was sent to prison where he only could study God’s word everyday. Being with God alone is when you have no choice but to hear what he is saying… even if it’s a rebuke which it is much of the time. When Mr. Bakker got out of prison he soon after released a book called “I WAS WRONG”. Thats humility to admit you were wrong. I also had to do this, I contacted quite a few friends to let them know I was wrong when I found out Jesus’s teachings. Well let me let him tell it.

Jim Bakker, Your ALRIGHT WITH ME FOR THIS ONE!

10 Commandments (Mosaic Law) are Fulfilled in Christ!!!

[tweetmeme source= ‘OmarLoves’ only_single=false]

This is a in-depth study about the LAW. There is much controversy on whether we Christians are to still obey certain parts of the Mosaic Law to qualify for God’s love. Some say some of the law was written by God himself so it is more important while some say we are not saved by works. An argument that began with the Jews has been spread onto the Gentiles after Centuries. (Found this wonderful article but had to do some changing, ENJOY!)

Romans 7:1-7 proves the 10 commandments (which was part of the Mosaic (old) law) are rendered idle, inactivate, inoperative, Fulfilled … its in the Greek!

“Or do you not know, brethren (for I am speaking to those who know the law), that the law has jurisdiction over a person as long as he lives? For the married woman is bound by law to her husband while he is living; but if her husband dies, she is released [katargeo which means to render idle, inactivate, inoperative, same as Eph 2:15] from the law concerning the husband. So then, if while her husband is living she is joined to another man, she shall be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is not an adulteress though she is joined to another man. Therefore, my brethren, you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. For while we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were aroused by the Law, were at work in the members of our body to bear fruit for death. But now we have been released [katargeo which means to render idle, inactivate, inoperative, same as Eph 2:15] from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter. What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? May it never be! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”” (Romans 7:1-7)

A. According to scripture All who attempt to hold on to certain laws  are guilty of adultery:

1. “So they are no longer two, but one law. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” (Mt 19)
2. We want to separate the Old Covenant into the “10 Commandments” and the “ceremonial law”.
3. Paul said that this is equal to spiritual adultery, because in order to be joined to Christ, all the old Law must be rendered idle, inactivate, inoperative!
4. By creating an artificial distinction that does not exist, we are ignoring God’s warning: “What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” (Mt 19)
5. In a most interesting way, Paul uses the marriage analogy to prove the 10 commandments are rendered idle, inactivate, inoperative.
6. Paul’s argument is that if the 10 Commandments (covet v7) are not inactive, then either we cannot be joined to Christ or we are guilty of adultery, just as a woman with two living husbands.

B. Same Greek word for inactive used in Romans 7 and Eph 2:15:

1. The exact same word is used twice in Romans 7:2,6 for inactive that is used in Ephesians 2:15
2. We say the it was the ceremonial law is the part that is inactive in Eph 2:15
3. Problem is Romans 7:1-7 uses the exact same Greek word for inactive, as in Eph 2:15

B. Outline of Romans 7:1-7

On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.” ” (Romans 7:1-7)

1. V1: Paul begins to explain a point by using an example of the Old Testament marriage law. He is addressing this to the Jews who wanted to keep parts of the Law exactly like Sabbatarians  and many others do.

Introduction: “Or do you not know, brethren (for I am speaking to those who know the law), that the law has jurisdiction over a person as long as he lives?” V1

2. V2-3 Paul says that a woman who just goes out and marries a second man without the first man dying, is an adulteress. This is a mere illustration to make the real and main point in v4-7. Notice the Greek word for inactive is identical to the word used in Eph 2:15, where many use it to prove the “ceremonial law” is inactive.

The illustration: “For the married woman is bound by law to her husband while he is living; but if her husband dies, she is released [katargeo which means to render idle, inactivate, inoperative, same as Eph 2:15] from the law concerning the husband. So then, if while her husband is living she is joined to another man, she shall be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is not an adulteress though she is joined to another man.” V2-3

3. V4-6 Paul begins with “Therefore” indicating he is making application of the main point based directly upon the illustration of a woman married to two men at the same time in v 2-3. If we are joined to the Law and Christ at the same time, we are Adulterers, just like a woman with two living husbands.

The main point Paul is making: “Therefore, my brethren, you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. V4-6

4. V7 Paul has been discussing the law throughout the book of Romans. Its all the same law from chapter 1-7. To the shock and horror of Sabbatarians and others who want to keep certain laws, Paul identifies the inactive law: “Thou shalt not covet” … the 10 commandment law. But was the 10 commandment law rendered idle because it was sin? No! is the answer.

Conclusion: The inactive Law is identified: “What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? May it never be! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”” V7

C. Here is a graphic chart to aid in understanding Paul’s argument that the 10 commandments are inactive (fulfilled):

D. How we use the passage so they can be joined to Christ and still live by the old law (10 commandments)

1. They argue that we are released from the penalty of the 10 commandment law under Christ, but we still must keep it.
2. The text no where even discusses the idea of the “penalty of the law” that is inactive, but clearly says the law itself is inactive [katargeo which means to render idle, inactivate, inoperative, same as Eph 2:15].
3. Now if Romans 7 merely says were are released from the penalty of the ten commandment law, then Eph 2:15 merely says we are released from the penalty of the Ceremonial law. (as we mistakenly call it)
4. If Romans 7 teaches the 10 commandment law itself is not rendered idle, just the penalty, then Eph 2:15 teaches that the Ceremonial law itself is not rendered idle, but the penalty.
5. The Sabbatarians interpretation of what Paul said, would have make those Judaizers to whom Paul was writing, VERY HAPPY. They could keep the very Law Paul said was rendered idle in Romans and Galatians.

E. Here is what Romans and Galatians says about the law:

1. “We are not under the law” (Rom. 6:14; Gal. 5:18).
2. We are dead to the law (Rom. 7:4).
3. We are delivered from the law (Rom. 7:6).
4. Christ is the end of the law (Rom. 10:4).
5. “Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ …. we are no longer under a schoolmaster” (Gal. 3:24, 25). Interesting that we believe that the term “the law in Romans means the 10 commandments, but in Galatians the exact same phrase, “the law” refers to the Ceremonial law.
6. “The law” has been rendered idle(Eph. 2:15).

Goodbye Legalism…Hello Jesus Christ MY SABBATH REST… Later I will discuss what the sabbath day rest is as explained in the book of Hebrews. We will understand how the sabbath from the old law was a shadow of WHO was to come!

Praise Jesus!

Water Baptism – A Good Conscience Toward God

[tweetmeme source= ‘OmarLoves’ only_single=false]

1 Peter 3
18For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit, 19through whom[d] also he went and preached to the spirits in prison 20who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, 21and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge[e] of a GOOD CONSCIENCE TOWARD GOD. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.

Here is the example of this from Brother Paul:

Romans 7

7What shall we say, then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! Indeed I would not have known what sin was except through the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “Do not covet.”[b] 8But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of covetous desire. For apart from law, sin is dead. 9Once I was alive apart from law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died. 10I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually brought death.

11For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death. 12So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good. 13Did that which is good, then, become death to me? By no means! But in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it produced death in me through what was good, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.

14We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature.[c] For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

21So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. 24What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 25Thanks be to God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!
So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.

Guys, God knows we cannot free ourselves from sin this is the job for the holy spirit. Our job is to have a good conscience toward God… the water baptism. Look how Paul was able to have that good conscience toward God. Even tho he could not beat the sin himself he accepted that God’s law is good and that his way… the way of MAN is not good even if he couldn’t carry out God’s law himself (Having no sin). That is what God is looking for from us. (The bible goes against the idea of going to the front of the stage (alter) to receive Christ or repentance… YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO TO TODAYS VERSION OF THE ALTER… THAT WAS MANS ATTEMPT TO IMPLEMENT OLD LAW TRADITIONS)

A lot of these new age teachings keep us in bondage… I myself went through many years thinking I was not a true Christian because I still struggled with sin. (Struggle Vs. Practicing Sin) I did not read the scripture for myself to realize there is a different from struggling and practicing sin. Now I can allow the holy spirit to do the work in my heart.

(Galatians 5:19-21) 19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, 21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Read below:

Ezekiel 36:26 “Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

Isaiah 48:10
10 See, I have refined you, though not as silver;
I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

That is how this happens: 1 Peter 1 13Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. 14As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

Each time you mess up u run back to God and repent… every time u get weak you run to God.

1 John 1:6 If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth.

1 John 5
7For there are three that testify: 8the[a] Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. 9We accept man’s testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. 10Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Not in my own words!

The Greatest King

[tweetmeme source= ‘OmarLoves’ only_single=false]

This is just a little experiment. Basically when we (humans) think of the word KING we think of a man with a huge crown and just looking quite ravishing. Here are some pictures that pretty much confuse our human nature’s way of thinking. Now for us Christians we do understand Jesus is King but who will admit that even the picture we get from God’s word about the KING doesn’t fit the king that we have been conditioned to understand? I will admit it. I actually use to live my life as a “Christian” looking forward this type of greatness. (Riches, Famous, Adored)

This has a lot to do with the system that has been set up in the Christian body (church) today. Even while Jesus went to the very lowest state and became “nothing” for us we still can’t comprehend this in this sinful nature.  It much like how the bad pharisees treated Jesus, who didn’t recognize him because of the condition he was in. Not wearing crowns, not wealthy, not following traditions. To them, to us that does not show a good king. We understand kings to be dressed elegantly, with traditions that would show his superiority. In some fellowships today it is very customary for the people to stand when ever the “pastor” comes into the room. (I could go on but I think you get the point)

It’s amazing because even while looking at this picture my sinful nature relates to both the top and the bottom picture opposed to the middle picture. What keeps me from grabbing hold of that is God’s word which describes what the greatest looks like. Look at Paul, Peter and the other earlier Christians. They were not very ravishing in the sight of men; who wants to be aligned with that. (I do)… Man did God really throw a wrench into our way of living.

Philippians 2

5Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Matthew 23

1 Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples, “The experts in the law and the Pharisees (pastors) sit on Moses’ seat. Therefore pay attention to what they tell you and do it. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they teach. They tie up heavy loads, hard to carry, and put them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing even to lift a finger to move them. They do all their deeds to be seen by people, for they make their phylacteries wide and their tassels long. They love the place of honor at banquets and the best seats in the synagogues and elaborate greetings in the marketplaces, and to have people call them ‘Rabbi.’  But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher and you are all brothers. And call no one your ‘father’ on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. Nor are you to be called ‘teacher,’ for you have one teacher, the Christ. The greatest among you will be your servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

Charmaine: Love Reality (Review)

[tweetmeme source= ‘OmarLoves’ only_single=false]

FINALLY is all I can say. I have been waiting for this album to come out for the past 2 years and it is finally here. You may not know who Charmaine is but she is actually a well-known artist in Australia. If you’ve heard Rebecca St. James’s music then you most likely heard Charmaine being that she sang background for her for so long. Well, I have been visiting her MySpace page ever since it was popular (which was a long time ago). I heard some of the most beautiful music I’ve heard but it was only like :30 tracks. It was not enough but I would pay them over and over.

I’ve had the chance to do a listening party for Charmaine’s new album – Love Reality, this album is full of amazing energy and amazing vocals. Some of the tricks she did I had to attempt. This is Christian music … no this is music at it’s finest. It has the slow ballads and then some faster upbeat songs in a perfect mix. The tracks are very different from what we are used to with some experiential instrument sounds that work wonders for each track. There were times when I heard sounds during the songs and thought I had a text message.

Every Track is a delight as of right now the song I kept replaying is Tell Me but as I was listening I was tempted to replay like 6 other songs but I knew I wanted to do this review and would have never gotten through this album. These are the type of songs that you will have to think about while listening too because the words are just that deep. When you listen to the song Not Fair, which can sound like she is complaining about God’s love not being fair but it’s actually the opposite of how God’s love is NOT fair that he can love someone like her when she doesn’t deserve it what so ever. I was like WHOA his love is so not fair.
